Jesse's Granddaughter helps first lady, Michelle Obama, celebrate the 2nd anniversary of her "Let's Move!"
initiative at Disney's Wide World of Sports at the DIsney World Resort in Orlando,Florida.
On February 11, 2012 Jesse the Jeweler's Granddaughter, Sofia, met First Lady Michelle Obama and danced
the platypus walk on stage with her to celebrate the second anniversary of the Let's Move! initiative. What a wonderful
accomplishment! This is a great honor for Miss Sofie because very few participants were selected to take part!

The kicker for Jesse the Jeweler is that Sofie's parents arranged for her to show the First Lady the custom made
cross pendant that Jesse made for her. Sofia mentioned that her Grandpa Jesse is a jeweler in Florida and that he
made the pendant for her. Luckily, Sofie's parents were actually able to snap a few pictures of the conversation among
other things. Jesse's birthday was just around a month after the event so they had a few of the photographs enlarged
and framed for Jesse to proudly display in the jewelry store.

To follow are a few pictures, the first picture is Sofie and the First Lady in a high five, the next two are of Sofie telling
the First Lady all about her necklace and the last is Sofia on stage with the First Lady during the platypus walk dance.
There is also a video of the event embedded below which shows Sofie dancing and the First Lady speaking about her
the Let's Move initiative.
