Silver and...Black???

You've probably noticed trends in fashion leaning towards a revival of  black & white and monochrome grey styling but this time, it's a little less trash and a lot more panache.  This chromatic comeback has spilled over on to the jewelry industry and it is looking good!  The emergence of alternative metals over the last decade  has paved the way for  these designs and we expect to see much more coming our way.  Alt metals such as tungsten carbide and titanium, to name a few, have made consumers a lot more comfortable with the look which we think has laid the ground work for this craze.  Color contrast is always en vogue and we expect to see the trend in black & white diamonds to continue as well.

Varying shades of sterling silver are combined to give a gradient effect to these collections.  Bright white rhodium finished sterling silver, black rhodium finished sterling for a grey finish and dark black ruthenium finished sterling give these pieces their flair.  Don't be surprised if you see more black gemstones set in white metal and white gems set in grey or "blackened" sterling silver.  These pieces are even being combined with high-karat yellow gold which looks amazing by the way.  That being said, ladies find these styles to be extremely versatile and can be worn every day and with nearly every wardrobe choice!  If you are interested in seeing more, check us out at jessethejeweler.com or stop by our store and browse through our catalogs.

20% off Luminox watches!

Jesse the Jeweler is your premier source for Luminox watches.  In case you've never heard of Luminox, their company is dedicated to creating durable timepieces suitable for Sea, Air and Land.  While the watches are geared towards military applications, they are a beloved favorite of divers, pilots and outdoors-men alike who enjoy their feature rich styling, coupled with rugged design that endures the test of time

The Luminox claim to fame:
Many years ago, a Navy SEALs officer in charge of procurement was commissioned to find a more dependable watch for night missions.  He discovered the Luminox collection at a trade show and looked no further.  The officer worked with designers at Luminox to create a special issue Navy SEALs edition watch for his men.  Luminox went on to market this watch worldwide.  They were then approached by the USAF to develop a watch for their fighter pilots.  Subsequently Luminox began a relationship with Lockheed Martin and was contracted to create and exclusive line of Lockheed Martin timepieces.  Over the next few decades Luminox continued their efforts in forward thinking and high performance design to create timepieces for many elite military and law enforcement units which in turn adopted these watches as standard issue.  Luminox watches have now gained popularity among civilians because if they're good enough for our military and law enforcement, they must be good enough for you and me.  Today, Luminox continues to build relationships with professionals all over the world to develop special edition timepieces including Indy Car racers and underwater filmmakers to name a few.

Jesse the Jeweler is now offering 20% off Luminox watches in our store.  If you don't find the model you're looking for, let us know and we'll find it for you at a great price.  Layway now through December 24th!
